Jaclyn Csonka
I am a fun loving, outgoing and very social individual. I love fall and spring in Michigan. Our household is obsessed with Detroit sports... especially the Tigers. We even had Paws make an appearance at our wedding. I love being silly and can finish anyone's sentence with a song reference. Music makes me happy. I grew up in a small, one stoplight farm town on the west side of the state, and relocated to the Metro Detroit area 24 years ago.
I am a clean and classic portrait, event and wedding photographer based in the Metro Detroit area. I reside in South Lyon with my husband and our two children. I know it may sound cliché, but I have always been the girl with the camera. I still remember my first one- a Cabbage Patch 110 camera. My long arms are referred to as the original selfie stick by my friends and family.
I started on my journey to becoming a professional photographer back in 2009. It has been over a decade of learning and experience. I am currently a special education teacher and edging toward retirement. In the meantime, I will continue to push myself to be better than yesterday.
I am a proud member of MAPP (Multicultral Association of Professional Photographers), and had the privilege of being a member of the TEDX Detroit Photography Team since 2018.
Thanks for stopping by.
